That said, here we go. Ten things you may not know about me…
- Growing up, I desperately wanted to attend a boarding school. I obviously read too many “St. Claire” books.
- I was a horrible student and still don’t know what I want to be when and if I grow up. (Ok that one may not be too big a secret.)
- When I was a kid I used to make believe that I was in a musical and would sing aloud about just about anything (mostly songs I made up on the spot about what was going on in my life) on my way home from school. And I still do it when there’s no one around at home.
- I bought my first pair of jeans shortly before my 18th birthday as a costume for a play I was in.
- I am not a morning person. Not even slightly.
- I cried the first time my husband told me that I was his best friend.
- I don’t wear any makeup and don’t own any either. (Does strawberry lip balm with SPF count?)
- I am a closeted OCD fanatic who can live in mess but must have that mess organized and alphabetized.
- According to Hubby, I am secretly a 13-year-old girl. His proof: my love of watching cartoons, animated programs, and other shows aimed at a younger demographic at all hours of the day.
- I still sleep with stuffed animals in the bed. (Please note that the bunny is mine, the armadillo is his, and the cheetah… well… he’s communal property.)

The musicals, yes...and the jeans etal but boarding school? !! Perhaps you could say that the Dal experience was boarding school. Maybe you heard too many of my tales of school days.
You do cook up mean carrot and 123 cakes.
13, nah, still 12?

The list of your weird idiosyncrocies would take way to long to type ;-)
Ah yes the spontaneous singing I so fondly remember. As for the type of student you are far to hard on yourself. True you never read ANY of the novels in English (and probably not in French) but you held your own. Things to add, in High School you fueled yourself with Coke - every morning. K.C.
