Welcome to my internet home away from home. Join me in my quest to find sanity and reason in a crazy world.
I was always awed at the people's ability to carry on their heads, as well as the sheer variety of stuff carried that way!
Every morning, we goes where we wishes, we's as free as fishes... in the Nile? (Hrmmm.)thanks for getting Newsies stuck in my head. May have to sing Seize the Day all morning and drive hubby nuts.
Love it! And it's much better for the back too...
I'm always amazed at people who can carry their stuff on their heads.
hahah, I carry books, laundry, water etc. like that!oooops, just kidding!Have a great SundayMonday! :)
It has always amazed me how they do it; and that they do not damage their spine;)xo
That's a Gem :D!Nope, ours only carry them under the arm, whimps :)I saw a waiter carry beer on his head the other day though. Thanks for reminding me to post the pic soon :)
Very true, egyptians are experts at balancing things over their heads! You should see the women who carry big water containers on their heads, AND a child on their arm! http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/HU6121-001/Hulton-ArchiveWomen RULE! :D
Just think... if we all adopted this method we could knit and deliver papers at the same time! :)
I just want his posture!
I've always found that balancing skill fascinating!
I agree with Sandy...what great posture! Our paper person usually throws the paper towards the door and usually misses the neighbourhood(but maybe I shouldn't mention that we get one delivered!).merthyrmum
I love that photo! My mom was in Africa a few years ago, building a school and she has so many photos of people carrying things (easily) on their heads, it's wonderful.
LOL! Looks perfectly normal to me!much love
I would think all those papers would be very heavy! Well, at least his hands are free.
